Rats come to us both in bonded pairs or groups and sometimes as single rats. Depending on how bonded rats seem, we may require they be adopted in their boded pairs or groups. In each rat's description their cagemates are listed. This simply means they are getting along well with who they currently live with. Unless otherwise stated, they can be adopted into separate homes. Most rats, with proper introductions, adjust well and bond to new cagemates. If you are interested in a specific rat or haven't seen one just yet that catches your eye, go ahead and complete our adoption application. Once you are an approved adopter, you can take as long, or short, as you please to choose who you'd like to take home. We WILL NOT adopt out single rats (unless otherwise stated) if you do not already own rats. We want the best possible homes for our animals. Therefore, if we have multiple apps on one specific animal, we will choose the home we believe is the best fit.

Our Adoptables

 Rat Handleability Rating

0-3: Very timid and does not want to come out of the cage

4-6: Friendly and curious and likes to be close to you

7-9: Loves human attention and enjoys being out with you

10: A total lover! Gives kisses and grooms you

*Individual ratings are subject to change based on recent interactions. These ratings are based solely on our personal experience with each rat. Please keep in mind that a lot of rats do not like being picked up. This does not mean the rat does not like to be out with you.*

Rat Adoption Prices:

Spayed/neutered Rat: $50

Single Rat: $20

One or more: $10 each

Rabbit Adoption Prices:

Single Spayed/Neutered: $50

Spayed/Neutered Pair: $75

Intact Female: :$25

We always recommend adopting a pair of rabbits instead of a single. Rabbits are much happier with a friend.

If you are adopting an intact female, you will be required to sign a contract stating that you WILL NOT use her for breeding.

 Rabbit Handleability Rating

*Please keep in mind that as prey animals, rabbits typically do not like being picked up.  They can become used to it, but rarely enjoy it. A low handleability rating does NOT mean the rabbit is aggressive, just on the shy side.*

0-2: Very timid

3-4: Timid when picked up, fine once sitting down with you

5-6: Comes to front of the cage for attention

7-9: Loves human attention and enjoys being close to you

10: The rare snuggler!

*Individual ratings are subject to change based on recent interactions. These ratings are based solely on our personal/foster experience with each rabbit.*
