East Texas Rat Rescue is a privately run, in-home, non-profit small animal rescue located in Whitehouse, Texas. We rescue and adopt out domesticated (pet) rats. We are mainly devoted to the rescue of rats, but occasionally are able to take in other small animals. 

We accept owner surrenders as space and funds allow. All rats are assessed for health and temperament before adoption.
