Adoption Process
If we have a furry friend(s) that has caught your eye, read over our adoption policies(listed below,) then go ahead and fill out our adoption application! You will receive an email shortly after letting you know if you have been approved. (Note: Applicants must be over 18 years of age for the application to be processed.)
Once you are approved, we can figure out a good day for you to take your new family member(s) home.
At the time of adoption, you will sign an adoption contract. We will keep the signed copy and you will receive a blank one for your records.

Adoption Policies

Adopters must be 18 years or older

All of our animals come with a 30-day health guarantee unless otherwise stated. If you provide vet records indicating that your rat was sick or injured prior to adoption, we will refund your adoption fee. Keep in mind, the stress of adjusting to a new home can cause a mycoplasma flare-up.

We will take our animals back if you are no longer able to care for them.(No refund.) Please reach out to us instead of trying to re-home the animal(s) yourself.

Unless otherwise stated, animals do not come with housing, food, supplies, or any other needs. You are responsible for purchasing these things PRIOR to the adoption of your new family member.

Plan on picking your new companion in Tyler, Tx unless otherwise discussed.

Our animals are PETS ONLY!

No rat should be kept alone. We will only adopt out in same-sex pairs. You must adopt more than one rat unless you currently have rats of the same sex at home.

Adoption fees are due at the time of pick up. Fees can only be paid in cash or through Paypal.

Adopters are required to sign an adoption contract at the time of pick-up.
